Description of lesson: I will begin the class with a power point discussion detailing several different symbiotic relationships humans have with bacteria. Students will then be asked to read a handout on the subject matter. Students will then work on an outline for an Animoto video that will be created as a homework assignment.
Assignment: Homework- Students will create an Animoto

The technology used in this lesson changes the teaching / learning in this way: Students will be able to create a video that discusses the subject of bacteria.This will require that they think critically about the subject matter. The use of pictures in making a movie will reinforce what the students are learning and will require creativity as well as learning new technology.
